====== Sign into "My YouTube" on your Apple TV.  ======

Signing into "My YouTube" on the Apple TV allows for much smoother YouTube playback than by mirroring from your device.

  - With the Apple TV remote, go to the YouTube app\\ (On newer Apple TVs, you may need to install the app first from the App Store)
  - Navigate to My YouTube
  - On your phone, tablet or computer, go to [[https://youtube.com/activate|youtube.com/activate]]
  - Enter the code shown on your Apple TV screen, and click Next
  - Confirm the permissions for your YouTube account, and click Allow

Notes:

  * You need to have a YouTube account to sign in
  * This will allow your YouTube history and recommended videos to be seen on the Apple TV
