====== OWA Tips and Tricks ======

Following are some tips and tricks for working with the new version of Outlook Web App (St. Mary's web mail).

  * The address for web mail has changed: https://mail.smis.ac.jp/owa\\ (This appears on the St. Mary's home page under the Faculty/Staff tab.)
  * If you click on a message in the inbox list and the message doesn't appear in the preview pane, click on the sender's name (rather than the message subject). That sometimes seems to do the trick.\\ {{:owa_click_on_the_sender_name.png?nolink|Click on the sender's name}}
  * If you don't like the "Conversation" view (where multiple mails under the same subject are gathered together), click on the View menu and uncheck (click on) the "Use Conversations" link under the "Group by Conversations" heading.\\ {{:owa_use_conversations.png?nolink|use conversations}}\\ (You may have to do this both for the Inbox and the Sent Items folder -- it seems to allow separate preferences for each.)
  * In the View menu, you can also choose where the preview pane appears. (See the image above.)
  * When you get tired of the yellow theme, you can choose a different theme by clicking the "Options" link near the top right of the window (just under your name). You should see eight themes to choose from, and there are very small arrows to scroll right or left to see even more choices. Just click on one to see what it looks like.\\ {{:owa_select_a_theme.png?nolink|Select a theme}}\\ You can always just click on another if you don't like it.
