Following is a summary schedule for St. Mary's faculty and staff for August 2010, covering important back-to-school events. If you have any questions about the schedule, please contact your school principal. If you find any errors on this page, please contact DJ Feldmeyer.
- Aug. 23
- Teachers return – All items should already be moved into South Campus classrooms
- 9 - 9:45 a.m. Full faculty meeting in South Campus Cafeteria
- 10 - 11:30 a.m. HS/MS/ES faculty meetings and South Campus tours for faculty
- 12 - 1 p.m. Faculty Welcome Back Luncheon in the Cafeteria
- 1 - 4:15 p.m. Work/planning time
- 1 - 4 p.m. IC card registration in front of the main office for the new copy machines
- Aug. 24
- 7:30 - 11 a.m. Health examinations for all faculty and staff in the World Language Lab
- 10 - 11 a.m. HOD meeting in the Maple Room
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. IC card registration in front of the main office for the new copy machines
- 12 - 1 p.m. Lunch provided by the school in the Cafeteria
- 1 - 4:15 p.m. Work/planning time
- Aug. 25
- 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Digital projector training for ES faculty in the ES Computer Lab
- 11 - 11:30 a.m. Athletic coaches' meeting in the MS/HS Library
- 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Fine Arts coaches' meeting in the MS/HS Library
- 12 - 1 p.m. Lunch provided by the school in the Cafeteria
- 1 - 4:15 p.m. Work/planning time
- 1:30 p.m. Joint Sports Day in the athletic field and gymasium
- Aug. 26
- 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Everyday Math 3rd Edition Introductory training, Gr. 1-6 faculty (location TBD)
- 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Digital projector training for MS faculty (location TBD)
- 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. IB meeting for IB faculty in the MS/HS Library
- Various times: Everyday Math Grade Level Training for ES teachers
- 12 - 1 p.m. Lunch provided by the school in the Cafeteria
- 1 - 4:15 p.m. Work/planning time
- Aug. 27
- Athletic field opens (including storage areas facing the field)
- South Campus bicycle parking opens (Titans Victory Promenade)
- 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Digital projector training for HS faculty (location TBD)
- Various times: Everyday Math Grade Level Training for ES teachers
- 10 a.m. New Student Orientation for Grade 6
- 10:30 a.m. New Student Orientation for Grades 7-8
- 11 a.m. New Student Orientation for HS
- 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lunch provided by the school in the Cafeteria
- 1 - 4:15 p.m. Work/planning time
- Aug. 30
- Classes start for Grades 2-12
- Aug. 31
- Classes start for RP-Grade 1
Temporary Entrances
Aug 6-27: Temporary entry and exit routes will be in use for the pool and gym buildings due to athletic field construction, until building hand-over on Aug. 27.
If you cross the bridge to south campus, make sure to take your ID so you don't get stuck there!
No Parking
There is no car parking available until Nov. 15.

If you have an event – departmental meeting, ice cream social, etc. – that you'd like to see listed here, please contact DJ Feldmeyer. Limited to events in August that are related to gearing up for the start of the new school year.
